Aramark Higher Education, a world leader in providing
professional services to colleges and universities throughout
North America, created a new campus convenience store concept,
Provisions on Demand (P.O.D.) Market, to meet the demand of
students looking for fresh, healthy and convenient grab ‘n go dining options.

P.O.D. Market combines the corner store with the style of a
modern market, featuring grab ‘n go dining options for breakfast, lunch or any
time of day, including:
freshly-prepared breakfast sandwiches, burritos, wraps, sushi and salads, as
well as fresh produce, bakery and coffee selections and traditional essentials
found in a convenience store.

|

The first P.O.D. Market stores opened in the Fall 2008 on three
campuses. The P.O.D. Market includes various service options ranging from full markets, self-contained
kiosks, mobile solutions and the newly developed un-manned c-store concept.
There are currently over 200 P.O.D. locations
opened, with additional locations being developed every year.

Making Promises
To become a preferred shopping destination
for students, the P.O.D. brand must demonstrate commitment and accountability on
its claim to be an “on demand” provider.
P.O.D. has identified five promises or brand pillars - Attention, Choice,
Fair Pricing, Full & Fresh and Responsibility - that serve as key business
principles and ethical guide posts for defining the P.O.D. experience and
ensuring customer satisfaction.
